I’m afraid this article is going to make some of you feel quite old. You have been warned!

That’s right; prepare to feel your age because there was a mini Saved by the Bell reunion over the weekend.

Bayside High’s Tiffini Thiessen (who played Kelly Kapowski in the 90s classic) and Mario Lopez, also known as AC Slater reunited along with their family members at an event in Los Angeles on Sunday (July 30).

In case you’ve forgotten, he is what they looked like back then…

It comes after Mario Lopez spoke to The Wrap and said that he’s “definitely open” to a revival of the 90s classic on Netflix, which seems to have already sniffed out and capitalised on the population’s need for 90s nostalgia these days.

“I’ve got so much going on, it’d be kind of tough,” he said. “But if there’s a way to pull it off, I’m definitely open to it.

“It’d be a lot of fun to do, and I love those guys.”

Unfortunately, Dustin Diamond, who played Screech, was unable to be there having hit the headlines when he received a prison sentence in 2015. He was found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct after a man was injured with a non-life-threatening stab wound at a Wisconsin bar on Christmas Day 2014.

He was back in jail again last year after violating the terms of his probation.

Dustin spoke about his time inside and said: “It’s pretty daunting, it’s pretty scary going into that environment.

“I found that as long as you follow the rules and stay with the system, it works. You can get in and out unscathed.”
